What a fantastic wedding to end the year on! Its been an amazing year and I am so so grateful to all my amazing clients/friends for allowing me to do what I love to do and provide them with invaluable memories. Kelly and Mike have been wonderful to work with and all their friends and family were so accommodating all day long. We had an amazing day, very uncharacteristic for a December day, it felt more like October. Last year we were under a few feet of snow at new years. Kelly and Mike were so much fun all day, you’ll see very soon.
Lets get on to some photos……..but first the other wedding professionals that made this day amazing:
Venue: Franklin Institute, always a stunning venue!!
Flowers: Flowers by Yuke
Caterer: Frog Commissary, I will make a bold statement here and say that the meal we were served on this night is the BEST meal I’ve had all year. Mushroom risotto with a puff pastry and grilled veggies, nice sirloin steak (I think) for the “meat eaters”. I could go for some right now, it was amazing. Not a “vendor” meal in the slightest. Top Notch.
Band: Jellyroll, these guys are awesome. What a fun band, couldn’t think of a better band on new years!
Videographer: Pete Malone from First Floor Films, Pete is a talented videographer/photographer and one of my dearest friends. Its always fun when we get to work together.
Second Photographer: Misty Dawn Phiel, so much fun to shoot with you again Misty! I am so happy we got to ring the new year in together, thank you for all your great images.
Assistant: Eric Walbridge, my “thankless assistant”. Thank you for coming out and being my light man all night.![]()
Now the photos……
Kelly’s dress with the coveted family Christmas tree.
The book Mike put the ring in when he proposed to Kelly. They share a love of vintage books.
The gorgeous Kelly.
Stunning.
Dad seeing his little girl for the first time.
Mike’s shoes were AMAZING. Class all the way. Love it.

Seeing his bride for the first time.
One proud Papa!
I DO!

Congratulations you guys!
We did some pictures back at the house with the tree.
Each time we went to Kelly’s I wanted to shoot on this road, its the road leading into her neighborhood.
So we stopped at the perfect time to get some of that great winter night sky.

Big bridal party on Broad Street!
LOVE IT!

Yep, Love.
This took a bit of coordination….and many attempts….![]()
I love the Franklin Institute when it comes to getting room and detail shots.
Kelly’s bouquet had her mom’s bible attached to it, her mom used it for her wedding too.

First Dance

Jellyroll in the house!
Yeah, LOVE
Only minor cake smash.
Kelly and her dad had a great time during the father/daughter dance.

We stole them away for a few moments to get a some more portraits.
Love this.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, hello 2012!!

I couldn’t think of a better way to end the new year, doing what I love, surrounded by happy people and a massive party. How could you go wrong?
Be sure to watch the slideshow for more images.
Happy New Year Kelly & Mike!
A little fun fact about Christina’s purse, I gave this to her years ago for her birthday I believe. It was nice that she incorporated it into her wedding.
Getting some finishing touches
I love that Rich has a goofy side.
beautiful!!
I LOVE THIS!
These guys were so excited to get out some energy and jump!
The first look!
Cork Factory has awesome stair wells.
Lovely looking bridal party

It was so wonderful to see Christina as a happy bride!!

Love just pours out of these two.

Okay a little shameless image.
A little behind the scenes shot.

Playing on the chalk board before the ceremony
Such an awesome ceremony. So much love in the room.
Love these looks.

YAY!!

The Cork Factory was beautiful
Christina and Rich had a lovely first dance. They split it up into two parts, nice loving slow dance and then a more upbeat fun swing dance. Christina is an avid swing dancer and she has taught Rich very well, he looked awesome!

I am posting this because this is just a total Christina expression.
They did their parent dances together.
Christina’s niece had a great time on the dance floor.
It was a lively dancing bunch.
I love Christina’s expression in this! They were throwing Rich up in the air and I think he got quite a bit of “air” if you know what I mean.
Then it was Christina’s turn!
The night ended with a lovely sparkler send off!
Be sure to watch the slideshow for more!
Amazing flowers, loved them!
I went out an bought a silver pair of these shoes after being introduced to them by Sarah.

Married!
My all time favorite shot of the day. Hands down.
Lots of little details. Simple and elegant.

This was my first wedding at the Horticultural Center, it is such an awesome location!
We had a party group on our hands.
A few rounds of “spin the bottle” were played.

You guys are awesome. I am so thankful to have been a part of your day. Thanks for making my face hurt all day.
Be sure to watch the slideshow, many many more images to see there.
Look at that tummy! Love it.
Abbie got a lot of camera time too. We had a great time jumping on the bed and love her super pink room!
Ellie in her crib, love the colors.
One big happy family!
Mom has an awesome new kitchen to have many fun baking adventures with her girls.
These are some of my all time favorites. Abbie was totally in her element once we got her apron and hat on. Future chef? Don’t mess with her kitchen! haha!

Was awesome to see you guys again! Congrats on the new addition. I look forward to watching you all grow through out this year!

Awe!
They had these super funny faces when I asked them to make a funny face. The liked to shake and make this face, too cute.
